On 23 March 2018, activists in Washington, D.C. gathered in front of the offices of the Islamic Republic of Iran to demand the immediate and unconditional release of Ramin Hossein-Panahi, a Kurdish activist and political prisoner in Iran who was detained under torture and sentenced to execution.
