Open letter to the honorable editors of the ABC News Network.

I challenge Mr. Ahmadinejad to a debate on your network.

This morning, Sunday, September 19, we read from various Iranian news networks [for example, http://www.tabnak.ir/fa/pages/?cid=120694] that Mr. Ahmadinejad has commented about the case of our mother, Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, and in the face of the world has made statements that contain not a shred of truth. This saddens me, as if we have occupied ourselves and endeavored to save our mother’s life and end this horrendous nightmare out of boredom or not having anything better to do. For peoples’ information, we will publish documents [MFI note: referenced documents are embedded in this post] of our mother’s stoning sentence, issued by the offices that work under Mr. Ahmadinejad’s presidency, so the world can judge his words objectively.

We humbly ask your honorable network to arrange for a live broadcast discussion between Mr. Ahmadinejad and I on these issues, so that he can answer questions about his statements and uncertainties regarding our mother’s case. Once again, I demand that our innocent mother be released.

Je défie Monsieur Ahmadinejad à un débat sur votre réseau.

Ce matin, dimanche 19 septembre, nous avons lu depuis différents réseaux d’information iraniens (comme par exemple http://www.tabnak.ir/fa/pages/?cid=120694) que Monsieur Ahmadinejad avait commenté le cas de notre mère, Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, et avait fait à la fasse du monde de fausses déclarations qui ne contiennent pas une once de vérité. Cela me désole et, tellement occupés à nous efforcer de sauver la vie de notre mère de cet horrible cauchemar, nous avons mieux à faire. Pour l’information des gens, nous publierons les documents de la condamnation de notre mère à la lapidation, condamnation publiée par des bureaux qui travaillent sous la présidence de Monsieur Ahmadinejad, et le monde pourra ainsi juger ses mots en toute objectivité.

Nous demandons humblement à votre honorable chaîne de diffuser une discussion en direct entre Monsieur Ahmadinejad et moi sur ces questions, ainsi il pourra répondre aux questions sur ses déclarations et incertitudes à propos du cas de notre mère. Une fois encore, je demande que notre mère innocente soit libérée.

امروز صبح یكشنبه ١٩ ماه سپتامبر در شبكه های مختلف خبری در ایران، مشاهده كردیم كه آقای احمدی نژاد در مورد پرونده سكینه محمدی آشتیانی مادر این جانبان صحبت کردند و در مقابل دنیا اظهاراتی کردند که ذره ای واقعیت ندارد. من واقعا متاسفم.

تو گویی ما از سر بیكاری و یا تفریح چندین سال است برای نجات جان مادرمان از یك كابوس وحشتناك حرف میزنیم و دوندگی میكنیم.

ما اسناد محكومیت مادرمان به سنگسار را كه در ادارات دولتی تحت نظر همین آقای رییس جمهور صادر شده٬ برای اطلاع عموم منتشر میكنیم تا دنیا بتواند درمورد صحبت های ایشان خیلی روشن قضاوت بکند و از شما مسئولین محترم تلویزیون درخواست دارم كه ترتیبی بدهید من با آقای احمدی نژاد در یك كفتگوی مستقیم در رسانه شما حاضر شوم و پاسخ همه صحبت ها و یا مثلا ابهامات ایشان را در مورد پرونده مادرم به ایشان بدهم. یكبار دیگر از اینها میخواهم مادر بیگناه مرا آزاد كنند.
