Message of Amineh Ghaderi, Mother of Zanyar Moradi, on the Occasion of March 8th, International Women’s Day

I, the mother of Zanyar Moradi, a political prisoner condemned to death, congratulate all freedom-loving women in Iran and all over the world on March 8th, International Women’s Day. On this day, allow me to express my heart’s deepest longing for the release of all political prisoners, and for the abolition of the death penalty.

First, I want to offer my congratulations on March 8th to the freedom-loving women who have not once left us alone during these hard and overwhelming days and months and years, who have always fought to save my dearest child and the one who shares his case, Loghman Moradi.

But perhaps at the same time, March 8th, International Women’s Day, is a day when everyone looks into the depths of our hearts, the hearts of mothers who pass from each day to night and from each night to day with the living nightmare of our children’s death or execution. From my point of view, this is the deepest, most hollow ulceration in the heart of every mother and father.

I don’t wish such a destiny for any mother. This year, March 8th should be a day for respecting all mothers whose beloved children have been murdered, for whom only a framed photo of their child remains, instead of their child’s warmth, smile, passion and life.  Those mothers should be remembered and saluted.

Allow me to salute the Mothers of Laleh Park, Mothers against Execution, and all organizations that amplify the voices of these mothers. I especially want to send my deepest heartfelt salute to the mother of Farzad Kamangar*. Even in the worst situation, mothers like Dayeh Saltaneh defend the wishes and dignity of their children with their heart’s blood.

Once more I send my congratulations on March 8th, International Women’s Day, to all freedom-loving women and men around the world. I am a mother whose heart has plummeted many times at the ring of the telephone or the sounds of people’s excited voices, as I thought they might bear bad news for me. I ask all of you to continue your activities in defense of my child. Don’t let me hear that bad news; we shouldn’t allow any mother to hear this bad news.

پيام آمينه قادري مادر زانيار مرادي به مناسبت ۸ مارس روز جهاني زن

من مادر زانيار مرادي زنداني سياسي محکوم به اعدام، فرارسيدن ۸ مارس روز جهاني زن را به همه زنان آزاده در ايران و در دنيا تبريک ميگويم. اجازه دهيد در اين روز آرزوي عميق و قلبي خودم را براي آزادي زندانيان سياسي و لغو احکام اعدام ابراز کنم.
من اجازه ميخواهم تبريک هشت مارس را در ابتدا به زنان آزاده اي تقديم کنم که در اين روزها و ماهها و سالهاي سخت و جانکاه ما را تنها نگذاشته و همواره براي نجات عزيزترين فرزندم و هم پرونده اي او لقمان مرادي ، مبارزه کرده اند.
هشت مارس روز جهاني زن ، در عين حال شايد روزي باشد که همگان نگاهي به ته قلب ما بياندازيد، مادراني که با کابوس مرگ و قتل عمد فرزندانشان روز را به شب و شب را به روز ميرسانند، اين ازنظر من عميق ترين حفره و زخم در دل هر مادر و پدري است.
من اين سرنوشت را براي هيچ مادري آرزو نميکنم. هشت مارس امسال بايد روزي باشد که به همه مادراني که فرزندان و عزيزان دلبند آنها را متاسفانه کشتند و از آن فرزندان، از شور و گرما و لبخند و زندگي ، فقط قاب عکسي براي مادران بجا نهادند، ياد کنيم و به همه اين مادران اداي احترام کنيم.
اجازه دهيد به نهاد مادران پارک لاله، مادران عليه اعدام و همه سازمانهايي که صداي اين مادران را منعکس ميکنند، درود بفرستم. من بويژه ميخواهم به مادر فرزاد کمانگر درود هاي عميق و قلبي خودم را تقديم کنم. مادراني همچون دايه سلطنه، در بدترين شرايط و با خون دل از آرزوهاي فرزندان خود و از حرمت آنها بخوبي دفاع ميکنند.
يکبار ديگر هشت مارس روز جهاني زن را به همه زنان و مردان آزاده دنيا تبريک ميگويم. من مادري هستم که دلم، بارها از صداي تلفن و يا از صداي هيجان زده افراد، پايين ريخته، و فکر کرده ام شايد خبر بدي برايم دارند! از همه شما ميخواهم به فعاليتهاي خودتان در دفاع از فرزندم ادامه دهيد ، نگذاريد خبر بد بشنوم و نگذاريم ديگر هيچ مادري خبر بد بشنود.
