November 25, 2010: ITF Commemorates International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women by an Act of Solidarity with Sakineh Ashtiani

On November 25, 2010, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, staff at the London headquarters of the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) hold images of Sakineh Ashtiani to show “support for the women (and men) living under the threat of stoning.” The protest was called by ITF’s Women Transport Workers’ Department.
