In a press release, the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers’ Organisations condemned the continued detention of its members Mohammad Molanaei, Vahed Seyeddeh and Yousef Aab-kharabaat. These three labor activists were detained a month ago and charged with “participating in the Coordinating Committee’s general assembly” and participation in May 1st event in Mahabad. These three activist are held in Mahabad’s central prison, and their families have been denied visitation of their loved ones. The Coordinating Committee has been informed that Mohammad Molanaei’s health has deteriorated and that he is critically ill. We at MFI support the Coordinating Committee’s demand for immediate release of Mohammad, Vahed and Yousef and all other jailed labor activists, as well as all political prisoners.
