Free Nasrin – Washington DC Protest, December 21, 2010

Nasrin Sotoudeh, a well-known, respected, and beloved human rights lawyer, has been held under torture as a political prisoner in Evin Prison, Iran, for the past few months. There are serious concerns that she may not survive her ordeal.

This video was taken of a demonstration in Washington DC outside of the Islamic Republic Interests Section of the Pakistani Embassy (the Islamic Republic does not have an embassy in the United States) demanding freedom for Nasrin Sotoudeh and human rights in Iran. The demonstration was organized by the Abdorrahman Borumand Foundation and Amnesty International.
