I am writing to you to demand that Ahmadinejad, as the representative of the illegitimate regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran, be refused entrance into the United States for the 2010 UN General Assembly meeting in New York City at the end of September.
The Islamic Republic is a regime that is guilty of crimes against humanity both for the mass executions of thousands of political prisoners in the 80s (http://www.iranrights.org/english/document-1380.php) and for ongoing executions of religious minorities, political prisoners, and others accused of non-crimes such as “adultery,” as in the case of Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, and “homosexuality” as in the case of Ebrahim Hamidi.
The United States of America must not provide safe harbor for mass murderers. Ahmadinejad, as representative of a gender apartheidist regime that depends on stoning and execution to maintain its authority, should not be allowed entrance to the United States. Should he gain entrance, I demand his immediate arrest and prosecution for crimes against humanity.
