100 Cities – August 28, 2010: Berlin’s Sohela Jandi and CODE e.V

Our public outreach and protest yesterday as part of the 100 Cities against Stoning protests was very successful. We presented the film “The Stoning Of Soraya” on a wide-screen television; we also displayed laptops other videos about state-sponsored violence and punishment in Iran. People were very interested and deeply moved, and asked a lot of questions. Two politicians made speeches at our demonstration, and Dr. Sohela Jandi also made a very moving speech.
