Friday July 2nd: Against Stoning Everywhere!
Global Protest Against the Stoning Verdict of Sakine Mohammadi Ashtiani!
Those responsible for stoning should be prosecuted in an International court.
In response to the plight of the children of Sakine Mohammadi Ashtiani, the campaign to save the life of Sakine Mohammadi calls upon you to protest against this verdict in any possible way.
Sakine’s life and her children’s future are in danger. How could a child witness their own mother’s death by stoning and live a normal life? What is this savagery and barbarity that interferes in the most private matters of an adult individual’s life then judges and condemns that individual to a most violent death by stoning? This act of savagery must be confronted by a wave of opposition by everyone who has heard this horrendous news.
Sakine Mohammadi Ashtiani is confined in Tabriz prison, her two applications for pardon have not been answered, and her stoning verdict has been transmitted to Tabriz prison to be executed. The only way to save Sakine is through intensive global protest.
An appeal from Sakine’s children has so far been translated into 12 languages and published in hundreds of blogs. Numerous Farsi sites have echoed their letter and the interview with Sakine’s lawyer, Mr. Mohammad Mostafayi. During the past 24 hours, the Islamic regime’s officials have received 600 letters of protest with copies addressed to us.
We once again call upon all women rights organizations, advocates of human rights, and everyone across the world to assist us to save Sakine’s life. We must prevent this human catastrophe from happening.
Join us in protest on Friday, everywhere – in Iran, in Europe, Canada and the USA – everywhere in the world join us against stoning, this pure barbarity. We can not allow them to torture Sakine to death by stoning. This is savagery and should be stopped by any means possible.

قرار است سکينه محمدي آشتياني بزودي سنگسار شود. طبق خبري که وکيل او داده٬ همه راههاي قانوني بسته شده و پرونده براي بخش اجراي احکام يعني اجراي حکم سنگسار فرستاده شده است. سکينه را به اتهام رابطه جنسي خارج از ازدواج دستگير کرده و ابتدا به ۹۹ ضربه شلاق محکوم کرده اند و سپس ” دادگاه عالي” حکومت اسلامي او را به سنگسار محکوم کرده است.
سکينه دو فرزند دارد و آنها ازمردم دنيا خواسته اند٬ براي نجات مادرشان کاري بکنند.
آنها چشم اميدشان اکنون به ما است. اعتراضات جهاني ميتواند سکينه را نجات دهد. اينرا به تجربه ديده ايم. اگر همه ما باهم و متحدانه اعتراض کنيم٬ ميتوانيم سکينه را نجات دهيم.

همه ما موظفيم کاري بکنيم. هر کس که اين خبر را شنيده٬ هر کس که به اين عکس نگاهي مي اندازد و در چشمهاي اين زن ۴۰ ساله خيره ميشود٬ در هر کجاي دنيا که باشد٬ ميتواند کاري بکند. وقت زيادي لازم نيست٬ يک نامه اعتراضي٬ يک تماس با مقامات دولتها و نهادهاي بين المللي٬ حضور در يک تظاهرات و فراخوان تظاهرات دادن٬ ما بايد متحدانه به پا خيزيم و يکبار با صداي بلند اعلام کنيم که نميگذاريم چنين وقيحانه و سبعانه زنان را تا سينه در خاک فرو کرده و سنگسار کنند. ما نميگذاريم سکينه را بکشند. اين وظيفه انساني همه ما است.
کمپين نجات سکينه محمدي آشتياني از همه شما دعوت ميکند٬روز جمعه ۲ ژوئيه در هر جايي که هستيد به خيابان آمده و تظاهرات کنيد. با صداي بلند اعلام کنيد که نميگذاريم اين زن جوان را به اتهام واهي رابطه خارج ازازدواج که امري کاملا خصوصي است٬ بکشند. نه نميگذاريم اين فاجعه اتفاق بيفتد و فرزندان سکينه٬ اين کابوس را تجربه کنند . به فراخوان آنها پاسخ مثبت ميدهيم٬ به خيابان مي آييم همه باهم در همه جاي دنيا جمعه ۲ ژوئيه !

وزارعی بی شرف پس نباید برای این بدبخت هم اجراء شود
با این استقلال قوه افتضاحیه به هیچکدام از احکام نمی توان اعتماد کرد و بایستی این را در نظر بگیریم که متهم آیا در یک جامعه نرمال مرتکب چنین جرمی شده .بله اگر کسی در یک جامعه که همه چیزش درست و اسلامی بوده مرتکب چنین جرمی شده می توان حکم را اجرا کرد با توجه به شرایط زمان ولی او چنین جرمی را در یک حکومت که تنها اشتراکش با حکومت اسلامی فقط اسم آن است انجام داده . من احکام شرع را هم در نظر می گیرم اما دوست دارم بدانم نظرآقای صانعی در این خصوص چیست . اگر می توان به یک نفر اغماز کرد پس دیگران را هم می شود به دیده اغماز نگریست . من همیشه با حکم اعدام مخالف بودم و هستم

How can a woman commit adultery by herself? Where is the man she is supposed to have committed adultery with and what punishment did he receive.
Your political desires to control the Iranian people by force brings shame on your country and shame on Islam.
