UPDATED: Indonesian Workers Protest Against Execution of Kamangar and Abuse of Ossanlou

On June 8, Indonesian labor union KPI protested outside the country’s Foreign Ministry, the Iranian Embassy and the US Embassy in Jakarta against the Islamic regime’s execution of teacher unionist Farzad Kamangar and its brutality against bus worker unionist Mansour Ossanlou.

Indonesian workers came to the streets in protest against the Islamic Republic

In response to a call by the Dockworkers’ Union (International Federation of Transport Section) and the Indonesian Teachers’ Union, Indonesian workers held a protest action on Tuesday June 8th in front of the Foreign Ministry of Indonesia. In this protest, Indonesian workers held posters of Farzad Kamangar and four other political activists who were recently executed by the Islamic Republic. They also carried placards condemning the Islamic Republic and supporting the struggle of people and workers of Iran.

Supporting Iranian peoples’ struggle, Indonesian workers condemned the Islamic Republic for repression of workers and execution of political and worker activists. They demanded suspension of diplomatic relations between the government of Indonesia and governments that violate human rights, among them Islamic Republic.

In similar recent shows of support, Education International and international workers’ unions in various countries protested against the execution of political activists and against torture and harassment of Mansour Osanloo; demanded immediate release of all worker activists. The Teachers’ Union of Norway, in a letter to the Foreign Ministry of Norway, has demanded that the Islamic Republic be condemned because of executions and suppression of worker activists. Indonesian workers’ support of Iranian workers and workers’ organizations and of the Iranian peoples’ struggle, and their condemnation the Islamic Republic, are valuable acts of international solidarity with Iranian peoples’ struggle.

The Worker-communist Party of Iran’s Abroad organization salutes Indonesian workers and actively endeavors to bring in ever more of the world’s workers’ organizations together in solidarity against the Islamic Republic.

کارگران اندونزی نیز علیه جمهوری اسلامی به خیابان آمدند!

کارگران اندونزی ضمن حمایت از مبارزات مردم ایران خواهان قطع روابط دیپلماتیک دولت اندونزی با جمهوری اسلامی شدند!

کارگران اندونزی با فراخوانی که از سوی اتحادیه ملوانان اندونزی (بخش فدراسیون بین المللی ترانسپورت)، و اتحادیه معلمین این کشور صادر شده بود، روز سه شنبه ۸ ژوئن (١٨ خرداد) دست به تجمع اعتراضی در مقابل وزارت خارجه اندونزی زدند. در این تظاهرات، کارگران اندونزی، با در دست داشتن عکسهایی از فرزاد کمانگر و ۴ فعال سیاسی دیگر که اخیرا توسط جمهوری اسلامی اعدام شده اند پلاکاردهایی در محکومیت جمهوری اسلامی و حمایت از مبارزات مردم و کارگران ایران در دست داشتند. کارگران اندونزی ضمن حمایت از مبارزات مردم ایران، جمهوری اسلامی را بخاطر سرکوب کارگران و اعدام فعالین سیاسی و کارگری محکوم کرده و خواهان قطع روابط دیپلماتیک دولت اندونزی با دولتهای ناقض حقوق بشر از جمله جمهوری اسلامی شدند.

همچنین طی هفته های گذشته اتحادیه جهانی معلمین و اتحادیه های بین المللی کارگری نسبت به اعدام فعالین سیاسی و شکنجه و آزار منصور اسانلو در کشورهای مختلف اعتراض کرده و خواهان آزادی فوری کلیه فعالین کارگری شدند. در همین راستا اتحادیه معلمین در نروژ طی نامه ای از وزارت خارجه این کشور درخواست کرده است که جمهوری اسلامی را بخاطر اعدامها و سرکوب فعالین کارگری محکوم کند.

حمیات کارگران و سازمانهای کارگری اندونزی از مبارزات مردم ایران و محکوم کردن جمهوری اسلامی یک اقدام ارزشمند دیگر در همبستگی بین المللی با مبارزات مردم ایران است. تشکیلات خارج کشور حزب کمونیست کارگری ایران ضمن درود به کارگران اندونزی، فعالانه به تلاش و مبارزه خود برای به میدان کشاندن هر چه بیشتر سازمانهای کارگری دنیا علیه جمهوری اسلامی ادامه میدهد.
